Korea-Myanmar Economic Forum will be held in South Korea on June 18, according to the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI).
UMFCCI and Korea Trade Investment
Promotion Agency will co-organize the event on which the businessmen
from both countries will discuss possible cooperation in investments and
trade.
UMFCCI has invited local businessmen who want to participate in the forum to contact their head office in Yangon.
Korea is the largest investor in
Myanmar’s manufacturing sector. It has invested a total of US$2.98
billion in Myanmar according to the official figures on April 30, 2013.
