Myanmar Investment Commission's Chairman Soe Thein, who also is the union minister for the Presidential Office of Myanmar, has been replaced by Win Shein of the Finance and Revenue Ministry, sources say.
The change of chairmanship has been made
because of criticism over the recent work of the commission.
Information about the dispute was not made public.
The commission was being investigated by
the Parliament during these days for not following rules and procedures
of the Parliament according to parliamentary members.
The new commission's chairman Win Shein took up the post at the finance and revenue minister in 2012.
