Italy-based Iveco Trucks has entered Myanmar’s market this month, according to Iveco’s partner, Myanmar Synergy.
“The Iveco will be selling all kind of
trucks in the country with hire purchase system. We will open service
center with exeprienced teams at Hlaingthayar Industrial Zone,” said Ye
Tun, Director of the company.
Myanmar Synergy is an authorized
representative for Iveco since last year and it has opened the showroom
in the beginning of this year.
The showroom is located on Pyay road in Mayangon Township.
Myanmar Synergy is now running businesses in trading, garment and distribution of imported diesel.
Iveco is one of the world’s renowned automobile companies and won the award for best truck of 2013.
The Iveco Company was established in
1975 and its headquarters is in Turin, Italy. The company’s revenue was
close to five billion euro last year. It is owned by Fiat Industrial
Group.
Commercial used vehicles has been in
high demand by Myanmar consumers since last year. Sweden-based Scania
Trucks and Buses and other branded truck companies are already in the
Myanmar’s automarket.
