Human Resources Development courses to be reopened in Myanmar

The government will resume Human Resources Development (HRD) training courses at Yangon Technological University (YTU) in Insein Township, according to YTU rector Aye Myint.

Plans are under way to begin the HRD courses early in the new year.

“In the past, YTU was very crowded with students. We expect that the HRD training courses will start in January and February of next year. Those unable to attend the technological universities, and staff working in the engineering field, can attend the HRD course. We are going to open the training course because we want to fulfill the state’s requirement for human resources needs,” added Aye Myint.

The courses will be offered in three-month or six-month schedules, with no limit on the number of trainees who can enroll.

The evening training courses began at YTU in 1996.
