“We are going to expand Nissan brands
popular among Myanmar people to achieve more success. We have appointed
United Diamond Motor Company Ltd. as a partner because we have had
relations with the company for 50 years,” said Hiroto Saikawa, Executive
Vice President of Nissan.
He also added that Myanmar would become a
new market development and it was one of the selected markets for
international investors.
Nissan’s S3 Centre will provide vehicle
maintenance, services for experts, offering the guarantee of original
spare parts within 90 days and selling and manufacturing Nissan brand
motors.
Malaysia-based Tan Chong Motor Group is
Nissan's Southeast Asia distributor which also runs car showrooms,
service centres and vehicle assembly in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam,
Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar.
Nissan Motor Group is the second largest company in Japan and it was founded in December 1933.
Nissan has many popular brands including Sunny, GTR, Fairlady Z, Skyline and Serena to name a few.
