Yangon authorities have given the green light for the construction of a 24-storey high-rise building on Kyaikkasan road, Tamwey Township according to reports from the Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC).
Super Shine Construction Company is the
latest in a number of construction companies being granted permission to
construct multiple-storey high-rise buildings as Yangon undergoes a
construction boom to meet an increasing demand for housing.
The YCDC high-rise buildings
securitizing committee was formed on October 25th last year and has
granted permission for first time to A1 Construction Company to
construct 27-story building. The committee has also allowed Shwe Taung
Construction Company to construct multiple story buildings in Kamayut
Township near Junction Square, as well as Mandalay Golden Wing
Construction Company to build a 22-story building in Tamwey Township.
The Committee submitted the construction
application forms to the Yangon Regional Government who gave permission
for construction of high-rise buildings after meeting with the
respective department.
