An advertising agency announced it is planning to create more than hundred job opportunities for Myanmar youths in six months time.
“We have a plan to work together with
famous agencies from oversea. That’s why we need many marketing staff,
drivers, sales persons and graphic designers and can create over a
hundred of job opportunities for Myanmar youths,” said Mr. John Handley,
CEO of Sail Marketing and Communications Advertising.
At the moment, the advertising agency
has agreements with US based consumer goods company The Procter &
Gamble, also known as P&G and a global advertising company, Omnicon.
Myanmar has plenty of graduates but the
job opportunities are rare. The youths also have lack of necessary
skills in particular area, according to the overseas companies based in
Myanmar.
