Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications is currently testing its post paid
GSM services to enable users to make phone calls from China, Japan and
South Korea, an official said yesterday.
Currently, the service is only available in all Asean countries.“We are testing some post paid GSM services abroad. The charges will be the same as in other countries. The service will be available for all inbound and outbound use on April 2013,” said the official who requested anonymity.
Myanmar has several kinds of mobile system: GSM, WCDMA, CDMA 800 MHz and CDMA 450 MHz.
