Myanmar private airline to launch its maiden flight this month

Myanmar private airline "Mann Yadanarpon" will launch its first domestic maiden flight on Feb. 27 aimed at facilitating travelers in the country, according to airline sources Sunday.

Mann Yadanarpon Airlines, the eighth domestic airlines, received its brand new 70-seated ATR 72-600 aircraft last Friday.

The airline will wing its commercial flights to Yangon, Mandalay, Nyaung U, Heho, Kengtung, Tachileik and Myitkyina from its main base at Mandalay International Airport.

In addition to its scheduled domestic flights, the aircraft will serve as a chartered flight for domestic and regional destinations.

In the third week of this month, the airline will expand its domestic routes, flying to other domestic destinations such as Putao, Homalin, Bhamo, Monywa, Kalay and Loikaw.
