The United Diamond Motor Company, Nissan's partner in Myanmar, will sell vehicles through a hire purchase system, according to company representatives.
Malaysia-based Tan Chong Group, which is manufacturing and distributing Nissan motors, has launched a new service and spare parts centre in February called an E-garage.
"We have already displayed the vehicles at the showroom on Pyay road. Those who want to buy a car can order after communicating with our company. We will provide the services not only cash payment system but also hire purchase," said an official from United Diamond Motor Company.
Tan Chong Group is now cooperating with Nissan Group in Southeast Asia regions and operating service centres, showrooms and motor assembly plants in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
"We have no plans to open Nissan brands Showroom individually. But we will widely sell the vehicles after the government had laid down the new cars dealing policy," said an official.
