Mercedes-Benz Company introduces spare parts and service centre in Yangon

Germany based Mercedes-Benz has opened original spare parts and general service centre in Yangon on Friday.
The company is also planning to open a showroom and a car workshop in early next year at Yangon.

Mercedes-Benz is a multinational division of the German manufacturer Daimler AG, and the brand is used for luxury automobiles, buses, coaches, and trucks. Mercedes-Benz is headquartered in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.


The Mercedes-Benz is manufacturing passenger models of A-Class – Hatchback, B-Class- Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV), C-Class – Saloon, Estate & Coupe, CL-Class- Luxury Coupé, CLA-Class – 4 Door Coupé, CLS-Class – 4 Door Coupé, E-Class – Saloon, Estate, Coupé and Cabriolet, G-Class – Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), GL-Class– Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), GLA-Class– Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), GLK-Class – Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), M-Class – Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), R-Class – Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV), S-Class – Luxury Sedan, SL-Class – Roadster, SLK-Class – Roadster, SLS AMG- Coupé and Roadster, Viano  – Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV), Citan  – Mini MPV.

The company has already opened its first original spare parts and general service centre and the showroom will be opened next year.

Daimler AG and Jardine Cycle and Carriage Ltd. are corporate to import Mercedes-Benz cars to Myanmar directly and technicians from Germany also give services, Aung Moe Kyaw from Jardine Cycle and Carriage Ltd. said.

Among the products from Mercedes-Benz, C-Class – Saloon, CLS-Class – 4 Door Coupé, E-Class – Saloon, G-Class – Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), GLK-Class – Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), M-Class – Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), ML-Class– Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), and S-Class – Luxury Sedan are famous in Myanmar car market, according to local car dealer communities.

At present, South Korea based KIA and Hyundai companies are planning to open showrooms, spare parts and sales centre and services centres in addition to Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi, and Suzuki from Japan, Ford and Chevrolet from the USA.
