Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) will soon open its after-sales service centers in Nay Pyi Taw, the current capital of Myanmar, and Mandalay, according to a statement of MMC released on May 27.
The opening ceremony of MMC’s first-ever
After-Sales Service Center was held on Monday, in Yangon, the
commercial hub of the country and began its operations on May 20 in
Kamaryut Township.
The Yangon Service Center has six work
stations and its operations are being supervised by a resident technical
advisor from MMC, who also provides technical training to local
technicians, MMC reported.
The center only uses genuine spare parts of Mitsubishi Motors for the general maintenance and repair services.
The two local companies, namely Yoma
Strategic Holdings Limited and First Myanmar Investment Company are
jointly operating the service center opened in Yangon.
Myanmar has economic potential to become
one of the largest and most important markets in Asia and the ASEAN
region and MMC would like to build and strengthen its brand image by
establishing the after sales service network, according to the MMC
reports.
