The seminar is part of the Thai Film Festival Yangon 2014 which is being organised by Thai company Kantana JK, in cooperation with Myanmar Media 7 from March 28 to 30.
“These kinds of seminars are good. Thai companies intend to distribute their films. Companies from Myanmar side want help from them. Now there is an understanding to distribute qualified Myanmar films through their companies,” said one attendant.
Wikanda Chaiviriyachok, the managing director of Kantana Post Production, discussed some aspects of movie making and visual arts by displaying popular cameras, sound and editing software, and discussing the role of 3D and animation. She also discussed recreating old films by balancing light and colour.
The seminar also featured nine film production companies from Thailand who came to discuss how to distribute and show Thai films in Myanmar.
