Organized by China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition General Corp, the exhibition will run until Thursday.
Shandong Trade Fair and Fujian Trade fair will be held during CAEM.
The exhibition was attended by Jiang Yingang, economic and commercial counselor of the Chinese Embassy here and U Toe Aung Myint, director general of the Department of Trade Promotion under the Myanmar Ministry of Commerce.
With standard booths numbering 145, up 94 percent than 2012, more than 100 enterprises including outstanding Chinese ones will exhibit agricultural products, food and beverages, building materials and chemical products, ceramics and gifts, clothing, accessories and textiles, electronic products, household goods, machinery and vehicles, stationery and toys respectively.
A wide range of exhibits is said to keep close to the life of Myanmar people and accord with Myanmar's market demand.
The CAEM-2013 can provide buyers with product-related sourcing services to fulfill a one-stop sourcing strategy as well as achieve zero-distance exchange between customers and manufacturers and offer solutions.
In 2012, the success of the first China-ASEAN (Myanmar) Commodities exhibition marked that all circles in Myanmar could obtain the latest economic and market information about China and ASEAN countries through this platform.
Meanwhile, 2013 marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the strategic partnership between China and ASEAN.
China has been one of Myanmar's largest trade partners. The cooperation between the two countries has flourished in trade and investment.
The annual CAEM provides Myanmar enterprises and people with more well-made products at competitive prices and enriches their material life.
According to Myanmar official statistics, the bilateral trade between Myanmar and China amounted to 4.3 billion U.S.dollars in the first seven months (April-October) of the fiscal year 2013-14.
According to statistics from China, the bilateral trade between Myanmar and China represented as 6.23 billion U.S.dollars in the nine months (January-September) of 2013, up 26.6 percent than that of the previous year.
China's investment in Myanmar amounted to 14 billion U.S. dollars as of July 2013 in 49 projects, accounting for 33.04 percent of the total since Myanmar opened to such investment in late 1988 and standing the first in Myanmar's foreign investment line-up, according to Myanmar official figures.
