Myanmar to hold investment summit

Myanmar Investment Summit 2013 will be held at Sedona Hotel, Yangon from January 28 to 29, according to the Republic of Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI).
The two-day summit, organised by the Centre of Management, will mainly discuss Myanmar’s new Foreign Investment Law that was enacted in November.


This will be the third summit discussing the long-awaited law.

Workshops focusing on Myanmar’s business sectors like oil and natural gas, mining, and agriculture will take place alongside the summit. There will also be discussions on new business opportunities including food, chemical, plastic and public services.
