Parliament has asked ministries to review the draft bylaws for the
Foreign Investment Act before passing legislation, the Myanmar
Investment Commission (MIC) said.
The draft has been sent for review to the 22 ministries including the
Attorney General Office and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar
Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry since January 2.
The ministries have to submit comments by January 7.
The draft bylaws contain 22 sections including on joint ventures and restricted or banned businesses.
Myanmar passed the law in November last year.
