SEDA to match Myanmar and Japanese businesses

The Interim Myanmar-Japan Socio Economic Development Association (SEDA) will help matching Myanmar and Japanese businesses, according to Myint San, deputy chairperson of SEDA.

“Japanese business people from different industries usually visit Myanmar in groups. If they are from construction companies, we help them to meet with Myanmar construction firms. We will help for matching businesses. We will also invite business groups from Japan,” said Myint San.

Currently, SEDA is waiting for its official registration license from the government. The association is providing seminars, workshop and trainings in Myanmar to develop human resources.

SEDA is also in discussion with respective authorities to recruit Myanmar workers for the construction of sports stadiums for the 2020 Olympic Games in Japan.
