The convoy organised by the Journey Adventure Travel and Tours Company Ltd. comprises of 39 camper vans. They plan to visit Myanmar from February 20 to March 5 and then travel to Thailand across the Myawaddy border.
“The tourists in this trip are very pleased to visit Myanmar. Mandalay is the city they enjoy most. They also worried over for banning of camping cars in Myanmar in the future,” said Zin Min Htay of Journey Adventure.
The travellers are from various European countries and arrived in Myanmar through India on February 20.
The tour will leave for Bagan on February 25. They will also visit places of interest in Myanmar such as Tamu, Kalay, Monywa, Mandalay, Bagan, Inlay, Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Pha-an and Myawaddy.
It is the second camping tour to visit Myanmar in February.
