Myanmar to host Korea Music Festival in February

YANGON - The Korea Music Festival will be held at the National Theater on February 8.

The lineup consists of actor Song II Kook and four idol groups, namely Sistar, After School, ZE:A, and U-Kiss.

"We have been planning to hold this Korea Music Festival for a long time now," said Pee Paw from Pee Paw Entertainment.

"We selected the Korean celebrities that Myanmar fans are already familiar with. The actor who is known as Jumong [in Myanmar] and Korean idol groups including famous girl band Sistar will be performing in this festival. All of them are young singers. I believe Myanmar fans will like them as they are already familiar with these singers who have unique choreography and songs," said Pee Paw.

According to him, the tickets for the concert will be sold in January, but the actual date has yet to be revealed.

Actor Song II Kook has already visited Myanmar before to attend the Korean Film Festival in Yangon.
