Muse bus station complex to open next year

MUSE - A bus station including a hotel and housing apartments is being built on the Myanmar-China border and will be ready by February next year.

The Thein Than Chi Construction company is in charge of building the station which will include a hotel and apartment block.

"A three-star hotel project and 202 numbers of three-storey buildings are included in the plan. Among them, 90 buildings are checking points. The recreation zones and shopping malls are also built," said Kyaw Win, Chairperson of Thein Than Chi Construction.

The project sits on 13 acres of land and includes 41 buildings, 202 apartments and a bus station. The station can harbour from 350 to 400 vehicles.

"We have 12 sub-contractors and the project is over 85 percent finished now. We are constructing housings, hotel and the bus station at the same time," the chairperson said.

Thein Than Chi Construction beat other six construction companies to win the tender invited by the Shan State government.
