Myanmar-US Chamber of Commerce established during President’s US trip

Myanmar-US Chamber of Commerce Council released a statement that the council was established in United States of America and Myanmar in order to carry out business activities for investments and trading purposes.


Myanmar-US Chamber of Commerce offices have already been set up in Washington D.C, New York and Yangon, the former capital of Myanmar.

The council will promote international trading and investments between Myanmar and US.

Moreover, it will also carry out the transferring of commerce delegates, releasing of the information issues and providing the required investment data for US investors.

The offices have been already opened during President Thein Sein’s US trip.

Myanmar-US Chamber of Commerce Council will strive to remove the remaining sanctions imposed by US and regain US’s Generalized System of Preferences- GSP.
