Japan and Singapore eye Myanmar investments

Meidensha Corporation from Japan and Keppel Land from Singapore are in talks with Myanmar's government for potential business to invest according to the Ministry of National planning and Economic Development.


Meidensha Corporation is an electric power company that produces generators and water treatment system and is running 15 branch offices worldwide. Keppel Land is an infrastructure construction company from Singapore.

The companies visited Directorate of Investment and Companies Administration (DICA) in Nay Pyi Taw, last Friday.

The Japanese company implemented the electric power projects in South Korea, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, China and the European countries. It has 24,475 stakeholders.
