A Japanese glove factory is currently
under construction just outside the Bago city, which is located 60km
north from Yangon, sources reported.
Being next to a large Korean garment
factory ‘Myanstar’, the factory is on the Nyaung Inn Junction of busy
Yangon-Mandalay road and Nyaung Inn-Tike Kyi road.
It is a full percent foreign investment, and its construction started in the summer (around April), a local said.
He also added that a group of Chinese
businessmen recently visited the land beside the factory, in order to
invest a food stuff manufacturing company.
